Rice Krispie Treats

3 Tbl butter
1 package mini marshmallows
6 cups Rice Krispies
~Coat 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray
~Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat
~Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted – remove from heat
~Working quickly stir in Rice Krispies and stir until coated throughout
~Using a buttered spatula and/or wax paper press mixture firmly into prepared 9 x 13 pan
~Cool, slice and serve (assuming they make it that long)

Hawaiian King Bread Dagwood

1 loaf Hawaiian King bread (round)
1/2 – 1 lb each deli turkey, ham, roast beef
1 pckg Swiss cheese slices
1 pckg cheddar cheese slices
Spreadable butter
 
~Preheat oven to 350
~Cut bread into 2 slices lengthwise, separate
~On bottom piece spread butter and layer turkey, ham, roast beef, Swiss and cheddar cheese
~Place second bread layer on top of meat/cheese
~Repeat step 2
~Place sandwich back in foil pan and cover with foil
~Bake for 45 – 50 minutes, or until all layers are warmed through
 
**Can increase or decrease amount of meat/cheese according to preference

Bacon Wrapped Chicken

6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
1 carton (8 0z) whipped cream cheese with onion and chives
1 Tbl butter, cubed
6 bacon strips
Salt to taste
~Preheat oven to 400
~Flatten chicken to 1/2″ thickness
~Spread 3 tablespoons cream cheese over each
~Dot with butter and sprinkle with salt, roll up
~Wrap each with a bacon strip
~Place, seam side down, in a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan
~Bake uncovered for 35 – 40 minutes, or until juices run clear
~Broil 6″ from heat for 5 minutes or until bacon is crisp
